Clan MacBean is a member of Clan Chattan, which is a confederation of Clans.

Our history is directly tied to the family by blood through Eva, the daughter of Dougal Dall, 7th Chief of Clan Chattan. Our Chief, the McBain of McBain, is one of the Vice Presidents of the Association.
