Clan MacBean is proud of our claim "From Loch Ness to the Moon" and the Board of Directors decided that it would be a great opportunity to tie in our Clan Gathering in Williamsburg and present a signed print of Alan Bean's "Clan MacBean Arrives On The Moon" to the Virginia Air and Space Museum - Langley - where Apollo XII "Intrepid" is on exhibit. This is the capsule that Alan and some of our Clan MacBean Tartan traveled to the Moon in. After the initial presentation to the Curator, Allen R. Hoilman, we were given a tour of the museum by a wonderful guide, Bill King, a retired NASA Langley employee.
