We have found there are some 7/8 Dip switch remotes that are incompatible with the new receivers. If this receiver cannot be paired with your remote a new remote transmitter will also need to be purchased. WARNING This receiver comes with a new wiring harness, the older style wire harness will need to be replaced when installing this unit. NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR RC-RX or RCMHL-RX RECEIVERS THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE with RCBHC or RCMHL Remotes. The Skytech MRCK (ASIN B00470V9N6) and MRCK-TH (ASIN B009LNP3YA) are complete remote and receiver packages that will work as a replacement for these items.
