The FTA360 tripod adapter in combination with a Leica DISTO allows precise targeting and measurement operations. The adapter is compatible with the DISTO E7500, E7500i, and D810 Touch. When mounting a DISTO E7500/E7500i, it's recommended to manually enter a negative offset of 2-9/16" into the DISTO so that the DISTO and FTA360 have a fixed alignment or center of rotation point. The Disto D810 menu structure has a short cut for use with this adapter. The FTA360 directly mounts to a Leica TRI70 or TRI100 tripod with the 1/4-20 thread. It is easily moved by hand and includes a horizontal and vertical find adjustment thumb screws for very small movements. Use of this adapter is recommended when using any of the tilt base functions, Pythagoras functions, or measure with a picture.
